International press conference will be held in Delhi’s Khalsa College

SAARC India’s President Anirudh Sudhanshu told that by coming to this conference of journalists of SAARC nations, the challenges faced by journalism in India and Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Pakistan countries will also be known.
New Delhi. International Journalists’ Conference will be held under the joint aegis of SAARC Journalist Forum and Hindi Department of Khalsa College. Journalists from across the country including Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Afghanistan are expected to attend the conference.
Almost all the preparations for this conference to be held in the month of January have been finalized and opinion was also sought from journalist organizations.Khalsa College Principal Jaswinder Singh said that this would probably be the first event in this university in which journalists from the country and abroad would gather on one platform. With this event, journalism in the country and abroad the continuous changes in the region will also be highlighted and India’s name will also be there.
We welcome everyone as an organizer and assure full cooperation. SAARC India’s President Anirudh Sudhanshu told that by coming to this conference of journalists of SAARC nations, the challenges faced by journalism in India and Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Pakistan countries will also be known.The objective of the conference is to bring journalists on a single platform and raise the question of protecting journalistic interests.
Program coordinator Smita Mishra says that this is a good opportunity for college students and teachers to know about the challenges facing them regarding journalism education and how they can be overcome.
Vice President MH Zakaria has congratulated in advance for the programme and has asked for every kind of co-operation.
